Hello and welcome to The Voice Podcast!
I’m super excited that you have made it to my website for everything to do with the voice.
My name is Sasha Astley and I’ve made it my mission to provide you with all I know about improving your voice and learning to become a professional singer. I have been singing for as long as I can remember and absolutely love it. There is just something about singing that allows you to be swept away in emotion and enjoyment. It is a wonderful experience and I can’t wait for you to begin your journey towards singing without limitations.
I firmly believe that anyone can learn to sing – and I aim to prove it too! Many people believe that they don’t stand a chance and are either tone deaf or don’t have the skills to sing professionally (or even just for fun). Being tone deaf is so rare that I would be absolutely shocked if that were the case for you. As long as you are willing to put some time and effort into developing your skills, you will be well on your way to singing the songs you want in no time at all.
With my website The Voice Podcast, I aim to help aspiring singers to learn all they need to know about improving their voice. I aim to provide a vast amount of information, tips, techniques, and even some course reviews to help you become more informed about what is out there to help you learn.
While this won’t (yet) be a complete guide from beginner to advanced on what you need to know to sing correctly, it will help you get the tools you need to make significant improvements to your singing abilities and vocal control.
About Me – Sasha Astley
My name is Sasha Astley, I grew up in California in the United States. My parents were avid musicians always performing and making music so I guess naturally I grew up with music all my life. I have been singing for as long as I can remember and when I was 5 years old, I won my first ever singing competition!
Since then, I haven’t stopped singing. I love what I do and love helping people to better themselves by improving their vocal technique. I perform on stage for multiple bands and have recorded in the studio for many famous artists – due to the nature of the singers and producers, I am unfortunately unable to disclose who I have worked with, but it is likely the artists that you are thinking of.
My music career took off when I started a vocal academy in California, it was amazing! We had over 50 students of all ages, teaching all different types of styles. I ended up making the toughest decision of my life to sell the academy and move to New Zealand. Where I started getting into writing and began The Voice Podcast.
